A group of students has specifically worked with the notion of “surface” with the aim to test possibilities of extra- and infra-human interaction in what could be defined a new form of “digital animism”: with materials of nature and other living creatures, around our interaction with intelligent objects, smart fabrics, and surfaces that are tactile as well as purely aural.  同题参见

Each installation in this group of works realized by Yang Minfei, Feng Aoyang, Liang Tian, Wang Peng, Huang Yaoyao and Lai Xinyu, is an investigation into one particular rapport we build with surfaces of various kind, in order to breach through and beyond them.

Interactivity and multi-mediality are also explored to craft technological tapestries of sound and image, to communicate the complexity of today’s sensorial experiences, like in Hu Zhimin’s work.
